With Japan’s tourism booming, the Nomadik team wanted to offer a way for travelers to rent their gear online. We built a rental platform with a custom-recommendation engine where users enter their preferences and go through the checkout flow.

Problem
Snowboarders and skiers visiting Japan want high-quality gear, but bringing equipment internationally can be expensive and inconvenient. Nomadik set out to solve this by creating a platform where visitors could easily rent premium gear locally, eliminating the cost and hassle of traveling with their own.
Outcome
We designed the platform’s user experience and interface, focusing on a simple flow for discovering and renting gear in Japan. The result is a streamlined marketplace that makes high-quality outdoor equipment accessible to travelers without the friction of international travel logistics.
